In town on vacation and now I wish we lived closer! Prime rib was excellent, cooked perfectly. Burgers were superb, moist and cooked perfectly. Our waitress (Courtney) was very attentive and friendly. We will stop in again when in the area! Keep up the good work!
TERRIBLE STAFF.
I took my father here and when we arrived there was no host. I stood there for 20 minutes while he sat because health and watched how 1 server took care of the 8 people who were already served as 8 other staff members leaned over the bar talking with another. Slowly a crowd built in the entrance of 15 people and still no one came to greet us. When I finally walked passed them to go take a seat an employee scolded me and asked if I knew how to read and pointed at the "please wait to be seated sign. At which point I helped my father out of his seat at the table and left.
Moderately busy on a Tuesday evening but no problem finding a place to sit. 14 oz. ribeye was fantastic. Cooked just how I asked. Seasoned very good. Waitress did her job well. We will definitely be going back.
We have been here many times but have not for close to a year. The meal was terrible, steaks were not hot and had an off taste to them. The fried potatoes were just a chopped up baked potato that was put on a grill for a second which was as dry and plain tasting as a baked potato. The service was terribly slow, it took 10 minutes to get waited on after we were seated, 20 minutes to get our drinks and just about 50 minutes to get our meals. You can not blame this on them bieng busy because the back room was closed off and the main room had empty tables with many waitress standing around. I was told it is under new ownership and everything from what it was has been changed. This used to be a steakhouse we enjoyed going to, unfortunately this will be our last visit.
My husband had the prime rib which was very good and I had the 6oz filet adding mushrooms which was excellent. They were a little busy but Meghan was our waitress and keep everything filled and checking on us constantly! Steak were seasoned very good and I paid extra for the wedge blue cheese bacon salad which was also excellent! I didn't eat desert because it was mainly chocolate and I am deadly allergic to chocolate. Overall A+ place to eat! We were just passing through going to Black Hill.
