Employees put conventional oil in my 2015 Ford Escape that has a 10,000 mile oil change interval and recommends synthetic from the factory. I assumed they were like other shops I've been to who knew these facts or at least had a computer system that told them. They said it was my mistake because they're not allowed to put synthetic in unless I ask for it.
