Spent 5 hrs in the ER only to see the doctor for 5mins and be told they didn't know what was wrong. $1700 bill for that BS!
I've had 5 surgeries, had all 3 of my kids (one more on the way), and been admitted for being sick a few times. The nurses are amazing and friendly, never had a problem.
My experience as a patient was great but their billing/financial services are horrible. If I had the money to pay my bill in full I definitely would, but unfortunately I do not. I will pay what I can every month until it's paid. I can not make money come from no where. Also "lady" I understand that you are told to tell me that your company can only except a minimum of $xxx a month but what I am telling you is I only can pay $xx a month because that is all I have.
Horrible ER visit, I wouldn't wish what they put me through on anyone. Doctors who most defiantly need more medical schooling. You're better off trying to get to a Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls than trusting them when its a true emergency situation. They mess up, and charge you outrageous fees. Did you know Doctors in SD have rights and patients do not (other than privacy) I wouldn't put your life in the hands of this Emergency Room staff.
Will never return to this hospital for ANYTHING!!!!
