Absolutely NOT child and family friendly. My 10 year old was scolded for plugging in the air hockey table so we could play together. The lady owner said he was too young and could have been electricuted using a 3 prong outlet. My 8 yr old daughter was yelled at for taking too many items to play outside, a ball, football, and tennis racket. 1 minute later the lady owner told me my 3 yr old son was too young to be standing 10 ft away from me, he was playing with a truck on the floor in the rec room while I was helping my daughter pick out some outdoor items to use. The next.morning.the male old owner chewed out my husband for letting our children Plat on the swings without us standing beside them. The youngest was 5. No possible way for our children to play without us babysitting them. He said we were irresponsible parents for letting our 10 year old walk alone to the bathroom. I enjoyed the mowed grass and trees. But the owners had only bitterness, stress, angry, unhappy relations with customers. They like older couples...not kids! I think the old time jail in the front of campground reresents how they feel. Their joy is locked up. They would rather have kids locked up in the jail than playing on their precious grass. The shower bathroom facility has warm water but is run down. Worst camping experience ever.
Beautiful campground. Super friendly owner, they even were ok with us coming in at 8pm. We will definitely be back.
If you don't think my review was bad enough then read on fellow earthling. It won't take much to know that famil-e-fun, is real-e-not.
My experience was definitely not as bad as the rest of these reviews; but we were only there for 20 minutes. I guess we were lucky that we weren't the ones who had a reservation.
I think that if you've read any other reviews you should already know that this place isn't a great family experience. Let me tell you about mine.
Beware if your coming for a family fun time. The owner is very rude!!! So is his wife. We were here visiting some guests that are paying to stay here. The owner yelled at my friend and our kids to get out of pool and someone stated he doesn't like kids and could he could be racist.
This place was so well taken care of.
My family and I went to visit cousins who were staying here. We only drove for around an hour but we were expecting just a little better. Our plan was to swim in the pool for a while and then have supper at our cousin's camper. Both my aunt and uncle were yelled at because they asked if we could swim. My dad went to ask if we could pay a fee just to swim for the day. He was also yelled at in front of people. Apparently it would be ok for us to swim if we rented a spot, set up a tent, and stayed for the night. Because the insurance covers that. The guy said that even if we rented a spot and set up a tent but didn't stay over night that we still could not swim in the pool.
This is a absolute lie I was in the office at this time and she was not watching her kids she was at the camp spot for a hour and a half.. they don't want to baby sit other peoples kids because they are not there responsibility!!! THIS IS NOT A BABY SITTING SERVICE IT IS A CAMPGROUND!!!!!!!! VERY CLEAN CAMPGROUND AND NICE IT IS RATED 9.5-9.9 BRAND NEW BATHROOMS AND NICE HARD WORKERS! great couple!
The owner was exceptionally nice and helpful. Spaces are big. Very decent prices. We live full time in RV. Travel to many states. We were really impressed.
